Complaint / review text:
Horrible unprofessional customer service. I made a complaint about a pair of sunglasses I suspected were a return because they were loose, slid off my nose when I looked down, and missing some packaging.
I already had the same pair in a different color and know how they should fit. The glasses cost $179, they needed to be perfect. I had already ordered 3 pairs of Wildfox glasses off Dolls Kill and one pair from the Wildfox site. Every pair had plastic around the frames.
The loose fitting pair I got was missing the plastic. The response I got was:
Oh boo, that is so strangeee.
So unprofessional and did not seem like they were taking it seriously. A customers problem isn't strange, it's a big deal. I was asked to send a pic and it will be taken care of.
I sent the picture and more emails and was ignored until the next day. I re-ordered and made more complaints about poor customer service. I was told that the replacement pair was personally pulled to ensure quality. I got my new order and it was missing the plastic again, had a small flaw, and there was a finger print on the lens... I think they removed the plastic to make me look for complaining about a used product.
Wildfox is a good, quality brand. I have 4 pairs and every one except for these had detailed packaging with plastic on the frames. She said she pulled them personally for quality... But first thing I noticed was a flaw through the plastic bag they came in. She was either messing with me or doesn't have very high standards.
I think they try too hard to be "bad " and that might be great for the website and twitter, but when it comes to giving a website my money I want professional customer service and shouldn't feel intimidated to make a complaint. I have read articles about accusations of being racist and replys on Tumblr and they are so rude. Like if you complain about Dolls Kill they bully you cause they are such rebels and misfits and if you think differently you're some lame square or something... Whatever! Get over yourselves!
We are paying customers. I have a right to complain and expect kind professional customer service. Returns are horrible. If you have a problem and want to return, they only offer store credit.
Why? Guess that's the only way they can get us to come back. You can find most all the same stuff on other sites that offer real refunds. Plus they have tons of stuff out of stock.
Dolls Kill is lame. A bunch of posers doing photo shoots for their site and instagram, but lack customer service, a real return policy, and quality products. They don't make the stuff, they just sell it and not well. Stick to other sites.
Dolls Kill is a waste of time and money. I don't trust them.
