Complaint / review text:
On 25/06/2014 I made an EFT to a Company Property company named iThemba Properties, Dealing between me and the benefiaciary (iThemba) went wrong and they did not want to return my funds, I then contacted Nedbank on 26/07/2014 to reverse the EFT, I was however advised that I need to go to a branch. I logged an EFT recall at Nedbank Sandown with Alicia REF no: 15121746183944, I received no feedback from Alicia, her manager and the Recall department even after folllowing up on a weekly basis.
I only received feedback when I logged Compliant REF no: 411595, The feedback advising that the Recall was unsuccessful due to the Bank Beneficiary not not receiving authorisation from the client. NOW lets get 1 thing straight. An EFT recall is the last option that anyone would take, I only proceeded with this because it was the only option I had, Had I been advised that authorisation needs to be acquired from Client I would not have proceeded with the recall, I communicated my reasons for the recall to the consultant and she never advised me of this and it also not stated in the form. Not only did I loose R2500 from the deposit, I am now owing R300 for the EFT recall.
