Metro Bus had damaged my wife's vehicle. This happened on the 19/02/2014. A claim was submitted to Indwe Risk on numerous occasions, as they kept telling us that they did't receive supporting documents. All the necessary documents were submitted 4 times already. After numerous phone calls, I was eventually sent a claim no. By Robert Xaba who referred me to Elaine Oakes, from Lion if Africa Insurance Co. On the 17/03/14. Elaine had promised me then that an Assessor would call me to assess the damages. To date, nearly 5 months later and still no call from an assessor. I called Elaine on Tuesday, 13/06/14 and she told me that an assessor would contact me 1st thing on Tuesday, 17/06/14, with follow up calls made to her on Thursday, Friday and Monday, 23/6/14 and still no call from an Assessor. It has been 5 months with no feedback from this Insurance Company, who might I add, has accepted Liability. Their service really.in the meantime, we are still sitting with a damaged vehicle.
