Reversal of funds of an unsuccessful transaction

On 4 August 2014, I tried to buy goods from Makro online and upon payment, I received a system message that the transaction was unsuccessful, however, the funds from my cheque account indicated that an amount of R2998 was reserved for that purchase. I then contacted Makro and they confirmed that the money was not in their account and they referred me to FNB. FNB also confirmed that the said amount was debited to my account and it was reserved. I was then requested to complete an 'outstanding authorization reversal request' by FNB and was informed that the transaction will take 5 working days to finalize. I made a follow up after 10 days and I was informed that my request was not approved and no valid reasons were provided. According to my premier banker, she once again submitted the request and to date I have not received feedback nor a reversal of the funds despite all the proof that it is mot with Makro. Please assist me to finalize this outstanding issue
