I do hope that Standard bank reads this and every one that ever thought of dealing with Standard Bank to not ever use them. I have so many experience with standard bank and the arrogant staff. I closed my standard bank account due to all the and I received smses stating my account is overdue, so I phoned them. After talking to a agent she said my cheque account is overdue. I told her it cant be coz the account is closed and then she said I have to go back into the bank because my rating is being effected. I mean what the!!! I am so so furious I don't have the time for this! When I closes my account Standard bank even gave me a voucher with the outstanding amount that was still in my account and now according to them my account is still open. Standard bank is so incompetent and worse is the manager when you talk to them are never ever ever available!!! No one at Standard bank can sort out this mess and worse is they deducted almost R2000 of banking fees which they took already from my account after I was there multiple times and they never refunded me or could sort it out and thats why I closed my account. Its! I do hope everyone reads this.
