It has been 5 weeks since I lodged a third party claim with Hollard. It took them 2 weeks just to allocate my claim to someone (after I pestered them everyday to do something). After that it has taken them 3 weeks to assess my claim and allocate an assessor to come and view the vehicle.in the meantime my vehicle (which is used for company business) is at a repair shop this whole time as driving it will result in further extensive damage, therefore no use of the car for 5 WEEKS!!! I have been following up on my claim everyday for the last two weeks just to get the ball rolling and get as assessor out to view so that my vehicle can be fixed. Everyday they promise that the assessor will phone but nothing happens. I have spoken to the supervisor in this regard who escalated the problem yet no assessor calls me. When I contacted the centre today I was met by a voicemail saying that they are in training for two days - this means that no assessor is going to phone me for another two days and this will take us to 6 WEEKS!!! I how can it take so long to attend to the basics of a claim!!! In this economy we struggle to make ends meet but service such as this is killing my business!!!
