Complaint / review text:
I just opened my fnb account in october. I got my card delivered and fnb requested me to make a payment of r500 into my account and in exchange i will get 500 rand in e bucks credited to my account.
I never received my account number so i suggested my account number is the number that appears on the front of my card. (that number is suppose to be linked to my name in any way!) i made a payment of r500 into the card nr that appears on my card. Fnb called me several times to make a payment to my account and i did inform them that i already paid. They made a note on the system. Someone from fnb then called me and said that they received the amount of r500 which was made into the wrong account and they will refund the r500 back into my capitec account.
That amount has still not been credited.
I also contacted capitec who tried to recall the r500.00 with no luck.
My r500 is missing and i also lost out on the r500 ebucks!
I am a new client and i would have thought that fnb would offer better service! As i am typing this letter, i am speaking to a fnb consultant who is telling me that they cant find the money.
