Complaint / review text:
I processed a cash send of R1000 to myself via cell phone banking on Monday 01.12.2014 & I was unable to retrieve my funds as I was getting an error 52 message on the withdrawal slip.
I went into the Absa Midrand branch on Tuesday the 02.12.2014 & wasted 2hours of my time as no one could help me to retrieve my funds or cancel the cash send transaction.
One of the Absa consultants asked me to contact the Absa helpline on 0860008600 which I did & I was advised that Absa was experiencing system problems & that my funds will be available to me in a day or two.
It's now day eight & I still can't access my funds & cancel the transaction.
I am in desperate need of acquiring my funds of R1000 as I have stuff to sort out besides the funds being mine & I should access it at any given time.
Please Absa make my cash send available to access my R1000 or cancel the cash send transaction so the funds will go back into my account.
