For the amount it costs to be a client of IJL, I'm incredibly disappointed with their service. I signed up midway through 2014 and I am on my 3rd date director - I don't know if it's due to turnover but, it's annoying to not have any consistency. IJL didn't show up to my first face-to-face consultation and no one answers the phone numbers they list in their email. I had said from the beginning that I didn't want to date anyone who has kids and 2 out of my 4 dates so far have been with men who have children.
While they did disclose this information, I felt pressured to go on the date for fear of it counting against the number of dates I had left. The date consultation with Sheri was completely basic and unhelpful. I was expecting something more comprehensive. She was nice but didn't really have any advice to give. My date director, James, has called to tell me about 3 men in the past week but, one of them all of a sudden is no longer available (no reason given) and I've still yet to hear about a date/time for the others. They hold their members to a 24 hour response time but don't follow it themselves.
I told him they need to improve their communication and he said, "Yeah, you're right. We could improve our communication." Yet, here I am a week later and it still hasn't improved. I just want a refund and to be done with them. I have about 2 months left on my membership and just don't even want to deal with them anymore.in my opinion this is a bit of a scam. I live in Las Vegas (which I'm sure is part of the problem) but, I expected more from this company. Total waste of time and money. Never again!!
