Complaint / review text:
Yesterday my vehicle broke down and I required a tow-in service by Miway - the first time I have ever had to use my vehicle cover in three years! My first call at 17h00 was handled efficiently and I was told I would receive an sms with ref no - which I duly did - a 2nd sms would follow to say how long it would take for a tow truck to get to me.
Four calls later by me to Miway and I still had no second sms to say what the delay was for the tow truck. Eventually the tow in service called me at 18h00 - one full hour after I reported my break down to Miway! The truck took another 45 minutes to get to me.
In the mean time I had tried to get answers as to why there was no follow up call, no second sms regarding how long the truck would be etc. When I called in the consultant was always very quick to shift the blame to whoever took the call in the first place.
This kind of useless service will be the reason I change my Insurer!!
