Personal property in the amount of $14,000 was stolen from my home. As a policy holder, I followed all required steps based on my policy guidelines and still no resolution from Travelers Insurance. I filed my claim with Travelers on 8/13/09 and had to wait a week for an investigator Michelle Koss, due to her being on vacation. I gave a recorded statement on 8/27/09 and had to submit to a lengthy interview with an attorney under oath. Travelers is causing me great stress and missing time from work.
I have paid my premiums to Travelers Insurance on time and carry insurance to protect against loss. As of 10/8/09, there is no resolution to my claim. Travelers Insurance is more concerned with the used replacement property than the stolen property.in the 18 years that I've been a homeowner, I've only had one claim for a stolen motorcycle. This is my second claim in 18 years and Travelers is insisting on continuing their investigation at the expense of the paying customer policy holder. Personal property was stolen from my insured home and no resolution from Travelers Insurance after 2 months of investigation. This is poor service and inadequate services from Travelers Insurance Company
