My father in law passed in September last year. All docs pertaining to a claim was handed to my broker who submitted to the claims department. Libertys claims department requested additional docs from the treating doctors and for historical medical information which was provided to them.in Nov my broker who has been more than helpful advised me he is awaiting feedback from the claims dept. They requested more docs now this is where the problem comes in, the radiologist do not complete PMAs, this was communicated to my broker who forwarded this onto the claims department. A few weeks later, they ask for the same docs to be completed by the radiologist. I called the call centre as I felt that my broker was being left in the dark as his emails were being ignored. They gave me the number for a supervisor at the claims department, spoke to a lady there names Linha who advised they did not receive the communication however when I advised that I had an email proving this was sent to them, she found the email and advised she would have an assessor look into the matter urgently and contact me. That was last week and no contact since.
