Complaint / review text:
I took out insurance with FNB Brokers which was underwritten by AIG. When I submitted the claim after my vehicle got into accident, I was told about Rodel Insurance will handle my claim. They registered the claim with AIG with reference: aig52559. During this claim this has been my experience:
-It took 17 days to know if my claim is authorised;
-At one stage I was given assessor number to follow up with him;
-I had to follow up with AIG to check if the claim is registered;
-it took 3 days to give repairers go ahead after they advised me it has been authorised;
-After almost 2 months without a car Rodel is telling me the windscreen is excluded because it was not damaged by external object prior accident. The windiscreen was damaged on the day and I have no control over what happens external during incident.
