I ordered a needed item, expensive, paid for Priority Mail 2 day to assure the arrival when needed. Item was mailed as expected, delivery date was today.
I look up the tracking and USPS has delivered it to the wrong post office. The Zip code, area of the state, everything on the label is completely different from where it ended up. I wait on line for 30 minutes and USPS "customer service" says it will now take 3-4 additional days to get it to me, oops, because of the weekend, it will be closer to 5-6 days. So why pay for Priority mail?
When I challenged that I had extra for Priority Mail, "Customer Service" made sure I understood that there is no guarantee of delivery within the 1-3 days of Priority Mail.
If you look at the USPS website, there is a small footnote that indicates no guarantee of delivery within the 1-3 day window.
I want to make sure that everyone knows that our local post office was wonderful in this ordeal, they helped tremendously, I wish all of USPS had their attitude and customer service.
