After 110K miles, I had to replace the wheel bearings (hubs) on my 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix.
Went to my local repair shop to get the repairs done and as a NAPA aligned service center, they used NAPA replacement parts.
Well, after 11,600 miles one of the hubs failed.in just another 1300 miles, the other hub failed. Both hubs failed in under 13,000 miles.
My original complaint to NAPA went unheeded, but after the second failure, I tried again.
Their response? A credit for the original labor cost... Nothing towards the cost of the replacement parts.
My local repair show had to know their parts were poor quality... During the time between the initial repairs and the failures, they changed to another parts supplier. Goodby NAPA. One of their reasons was the poor quality of their parts.
