The wife bought me a Marantz AV receiver for Christmas through Accessories 4 Less. It arrived dead.
I spoke with customer service reps from both Marantz and A4L to get it replaced. Apparently she bought the present too early - on Christmas day it was outside their 30 day limit for free replacement. They would NOT extend the free replacement period given the reasonable explanation that the unit wasn't even opened until Christmas.
So now I need to send the receiver to/from a service center on my own dime.
I expected better customer service from Marantz. This is no way to treat customers.
