I bought an OVHD STB/Decoder on sunday 21/12/2014 and till today I still can't get any channels, I called the Ellies/Elsat call centre to get technical assistance to get channels, I was on hold for over 20 min and was cut off due to running out of airtime and it wasn't the 1st time. I called them the day I bought the STB for some time, I was told they are having activation problems because they have to activate my STB to work on IS20 satellite, they then told me to go to advanced settings by pressing Exit, 2,4, 6,5, info on my remote. I did all that and tried to download the software just as they had told me, and it just says "STB waiting for signal" even though my signal strength is 98% and signal quality is 84%. Now I'm stuck with an OVHD decoder that I can't even use.
There is no assistance at all. Now I have no airtime to call and sitting with an STB that doesn't receive any channels at all.
What kind of service is this?
