My grandchild took an IQ test on the internet. My cell received a text that offered a service. It said if you don't want service, text "stop." I did text stop immediately. My bill shows a $9.95 charge for the service. I called 800-580-0017 and spoke to customer service, and that was a joke. They said that the money is not refundable. They said I should not have responded to the text.
I think this is a scam. I will write in a complaint, as my telephone complaint was ignored. I will also contact the BBB as well. This is not the only company out there doing this, but that does not make it right.
I am a veteran on unemployment. I need my phone to obtain work. I wanted my $9.95 refunded as the service was not used. They said that could not be done. I offered my physical address so that they could send me a check. This idea was refused as well. All of us should complain until action is taken to shut down their business.
