I have returned my defective Marantz amplifier to DION WIRED who have sent it to HFX for quote/repair. The claims from HFX on line are:
"Johan recently attended a Marantz Service Training conference in Dusseldorf Germany. It was a fantastic opportunity for Johan to exchange thoughts and ideas about new Marantz product features and technologies, as well as tools and methods for quick and reliable failure diagnosing. Finally, the latest operating theory and troubleshooting techniques for the Marantz A/V circuits was relayed to the attendees.
All this fairs well for any product issues we may be confronted with going forward, especially with the ever increasingly complicated circuitry being built into these products. Obviously, the quicker we can diagnose any problem, the sooner we can have it repaired or replaced, and of course the quicker the product gets back to the owner. We have always prided ourselves with superb service turn-around times, and this is another step forward."
My experience is that after 3 weeks I am begging DION's for a quote for repairing my Marantz Amplifier, which they are promised daily by HFX but nothing happens. I hate to thing how bad HFX were before!!!
