I bought a lifetime membership to iMusicSearch.com, aka MyMusicInc. For $34.95. When I found out that most of the music was illegal, I emailed them for a refund.
On this company's home page AND faq page, it states there is a 100% satisfaction guarantee, and that I could cancel my membership within 30 days for a full refund. I cancelled within a week, and the only thing they sent me was a generic automated email.
I have tried to contact them 3 more times since then, to no avail. I have also contacted the Better Business Bureau, who had to close the account because of a lack of response by iMusicSearch. I reported them to the FTC and to the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3), and still nothing has been done.
I know I'm not the only one who's been ripped off by these people, so why hasn't anyone done anything about it?
