I purchased a new Renault Clio 4 Dynamique Turbo in the current year 2014 from Renault CMH Midrand. I have been experiencing endless flaws with the vehicle from the day i took delivery. The vehicle now has only 3500km on the clock and has been in twice for the flaws to be assessed and "fixed". The main issues are the wind sound in motion and the rattles in the dashboard. Both the dealership CMH Midrand and Renault SA has advised that this is a standard fault across all Clio 4's and cannot be fixed. Renault SA is non-compliant with the Consumer Protection Act (2008). I have lodged a case with the National Consumer Commission and am awaiting feedback. To all the Renault lovers... Dont be fooled by the flashy looks. The car is a piece of scrap and the service from Renault is absolutely alarmingly pathetic. Renault now refuses to have the flaws repaired or have the car replaced. Renault needs to be exposed and the public should be aware of the nonsense and inconvenience that awaits once you purchase a Renault. The Consumer Protection Act (2008) needs to be enforced on companies like Renault SA to protect the rights of all consumers who receive the raw end of the deal. Renault!!!
