A token that i bought tha did not ente

I bought a token through my bank and when i entered the token on the meter box it gave me a DDDD message and the electricity was not appearing in the box. I called Eskom they sent the technicians thy just looked at the box and said there is nothing wrong with the box, this happened for 2 weeks then i went to their offices in bellville the guy that was helping me said they will send people to help me but those people told me that the token that shows the DDD means that the token has been used so i asked what about my money they said i must forget about it. On the 6th of this month i foned again then they told me to call when am at home infront of the box because that time i was at work my sister was at home then they said i must call later then i called on Saturday which was the 7th then the lady nombulelo told me that there is nothing they can do i must just forget that i bought that token. I have a lot of reference numbers but the last one they gave me was 138983200. I feel that its unfair to buy R60 electricity then all of a sudden you are told that the token was used. I need you to please help me
