Complaint / review text:
I closed my father's account when he passed away. They issued a refund check to him. Three painful calls and no resolution. I was told I need to have his death certificate to cash the check at his bank. Hard to do when you aren't local so Comcast keeps the balance.
Worse was the rude treatment by the 'manager'. When I said "When this happens to you" she cut me off saying "she has no family, they all died'. What kind of remark is that? I was going to say I hope you don't get treated like this. I said no other utilities behaved like this and she said I should compare Comcast to other utilities. Okay but Verizon seems awfully nice now.
