After purchasing a Samsung SGH-i917 phone from AT&T, I went to the 'official' Samsung website and purchased some accessories including a holster. After some months of careful use, the belt clip pulled away from the body of the holster. I felt this was a design defect and attempted to contact Samsung using their website's "Contact Us" form. Two such contact attempts went without a response. Then, I tried to contact them via their Live Chat. For two days in a row, I received a message to the effect that Live Chat was overwhelmed and therefore unavailable. Finally I called customer service and was told the holster was out of warranty and there was nothing they could/would do.
I will never buy another Samsung product.
