I have had a Cigna dental HMO policy with you people for many years. My dentist no longer takes Cigna HMO, she only takes Cigna Dental PPO. I have been trying to get my policy changed from an HMO policy to a PPO policy. I have called for 3 business days and have not been able to achieve this. I have been on hold no less than 1 hour and a half and when I finally get a live person, they are rude and abrasive and they transfer me to the wrong department. I spent 2 hours on hold today and was transferred four times to the wrong departments. I spoke with 2 Customer Service Representatives, each name LaToya, they were both rude and abrasive and just down right mean. I can't believe that you have people like this working for your organization. Not only are they totally incompetent, but they have no social skills and should not be dealing with the public. I am going to do a blog on the internet about Cigna and what I have experienced. I am also, writing a letter to upper management in your corporate offices because something needs to be done. You can not effectively run a company like the this one is being run forever and continue to make a profit. I was in the insurance industry for 37 years and I have worked in all areas of insurance; property, casualty, health and life and I know this is not how you run a company. Your company has to be the absolute worst business I have ever had to deal with. My Cigna Dental 78. My name is Deborah Christian-Lepera. All I wanted to do was change my HMO plan to a PPO plan. Also, I currently carry Aetna Medical HMO which is the best medical carrier in the United States. Unfortunately, they will not be offering Individual Health plans after May, 2014 therefore my coverage will end with them and I am devastated. I pay Aetna a premium of $868.00 a month for individual HMO Health coverage and I am glad to do it because there Customer Service is impeccable. I used to have medical coverage with your company back in 2007 until the company I was employed with dropped your company as a medical provider. I was planning on seeking medical coverage with your company after my coverage expired May, 2014 but after what I have experienced with your Dental Department I would not insure my dog with your company. I have had all of the Insurance Health care companies at one time or another in my business career and I must say I can't believe this is how this company is being run. Deborah Christian-Lepera
