Complaint / review text:
I paid my DSTV Account at Pick n Pay on 31/07/2014 a day before my deadline. My Account is upto date however, last Sunday 03/08/14 my account was suspended.
I emailed my proof of payment and I was given Case Number. I was supposed to be contacted within 24hours which never happened. I called MultiChoice on Monday 04/08/14 around 12pm. I spoke to Kabelo who confirmed that my Proof of Payment was received and he promised to follow up with Payments department. My services were connected.
On Friday 08/08/14 morning my Account was suspended again. I had to call MultiChoice. I spoke to Phumla/Phumzile who also confirmed that my payment was not located on their system even though proof of payment was received. My services were reconnected. However, when I checked my statement today (10/08/14) on My DSTV - it shows that I have not paid upto date.
When will this error from MultiChoice be rectified? I am sure in due course my Account will be suspended. Why should I be treated like a defaulter and miss my services which I fully paid and lose my precious time and units calling MultiChoice without any apologies or compensation received for their poor services?
