I received an email regarding the Dual View DSTV decoder becoming obsolete and therefore I have to buy a new decoder which I find totally unacceptable! I received this reply from them:

Thank you for your email.
Customer brings in their Single view decoder (DSD 910; 933;990;110/ Panasat 645/ UEC 660;720;720i).
No charge for HD Decoder if you have active Decoder Care Plan.
For Customers without Decoder Care Plan R449.00 for a HD Decoder will be payable. Alternatively R1699.00 for a DStv Explora.

Surely this should be free of charge, why should I have to now outlay money to buy a new decoder! Very unhappy customer!!
