Hallo Peter. I would like to complain about service by Multichoice and how it constitutes unethical conduct. Just over 5 years ago I cancelled my M-Net subscription. At the time my account was fully paid up in advance and after the account was settle I still had R562,54 paid up in advance. At the time of cancellation the lady who took my call said it was Multichoice policy to NOT REFUND their customers. That was the last I heard from Multichoice for 5 years.in April 2014 I received an email from Multichoice stating that they on the 27 February 2014 wrote off the funds I paid in advance. I contacted Multichoice to query this and asked why a refund was never made. After a lot of correspondence and ending up at Ledger Enquiries I was told that I should have requested a refund from Multichoice. When asked why Multichoice did not send me a single account statement in 5 years regarding a refund I received no reply. I had been using the same cell phone number for 15 years, work for the same employer the last 9 years, have the same email address for 9 years. Yet Multichoice could not contact me with a refund? This is unacceptable. How many other people have they done in this way?
