I recently had a couple of David's Bridal experiences.in April of this year went as a Bridesmaid for a friends wedding and ordered Bridesmaid dresses.
There was a bride and 3 bridesmaids, 1 flower girl and a junior bridesmaid. We were told we would have two consultants helping us because our party was so large. We ended up barely having one and she was more concerned with the bride then the rest of us. The service was really slow but I chalked that up to our party being large.
Some of the bridal party was related but when we went to order our dresses the saleswoman rang up all of the dresses as one order never mind the bride wasn't paying for us all and then refused to change the order so we all agreed to pay the bride back... It is now June all three of our bridesmaid dresses came back with issues, 2 had been ordered as the wrong size and my dress had stains and 2 runs in a brand new dress so had to be reordered and are due in 3-4 weeks before a September wedding. Needless to say less than impressed.
In May of this year I made an appointment for my own wedding thinking that if I have my bridesmaid's try on dresses without me the bride trying them on we would get better service and because I really liked the color red they have. I have four bridesmaids and we made an appointment which was confirmed by them 4 times, via emails and texts. Got there and our attendant was helping several other parties at the same time.
My bridesmaids had a really hard time getting their questions answered and we were basically ignored.
We have decided to spend a little more and buy dresses at another store that gave us awesome service and actually cared. Can't believe this place stays in business
