Complaint / review text:
Maxidor did a quote for me on 1st October 2014 to replace all the burglar bars. I showed the salesperson a Maxidor gate which is about 3 years old and is now rusting. He said he will log a call for them to service it. When the new burglar bars were installed in mid November, the installers were completely unaware of this gate that needed to be serviced. However, they did take pictures of it and also completed an assessment. They told me that because it was rusted it would need to be replaced.
After many emails to Maxidor, I received an email on the 15 January stating that the paperwork was sent for approval of remake to head office and it would take 3-4 weeks.
I then waited until 12 February to send an email asking what the status is of the new gate. I then sent another email on the 16 February asking for this. I received an email back from Lauren on the 18 February saying that she will do some investigation. I followed up with another email on 24 February and until now have received no response.
It has been 5 months since all this started. Poor quality products with poor quality service. I will NOT recommend Maxidor to anyone.
