My daughter is a college student who ordered a text book from Amazon or Apex. On November 27, my daughter was diagnosed with brain cancer and has been fighting it every since, therefore not allowing us to send the text book back on time.
Without knowledge of the situation I went to get my daughters medicine and the card was declined, I was charged the full price of the book which I did not have and neither did my daughter. I called Amazon telling them I do have the book and I am willing to send it back for my daughter and I also let them know what was going on and they told me there was nothing they could do.
I had to borrow money to get my daughters medicine. I do not want anyone to feel pity for me but I think this is unfare and I will make sure she never orders another text book or anything else from Amazon again.
