Complaint / review text:
There were no shopping carts inside the store so I saw a cart that had empty boxes and started to remove those boxes so I could use that cart when Melvin the head of security came up to us and said rudely to put the boxes back that I could not have that cart and I explained that there was none to get and did not offer assistance in getting me a cart he just kept getting more rude. He should of offered to get us a cart and when my husband came to my defense (who by the way was holding a swimming pool in the box the whole time) he got really rude with my husband.
Then he said we had to leave the store and we said no we did not do anything all we wanted was a cart. That's when I wanted to speak to a manager. We were treated very unacceptable by this walmart employee and I felt really bad for my 9 yr old son who witnessed the whole incident. The assistant manager who I spoke to was not very professional about this cause when I said I wanted to fill out a formal complaint he handed me a white blank 4X5 piece of paper and I said no don't you have a complaint form and he said no. After listening to my complaint further he finally produced a complaint form which I filled out. I am very shocked at the behavior of this employee and seriously hope no one else gets this kind of treatment.
No physical damage was done just the mental anguish of being treated that way and having my 9 yr old son be a witness to it all. He was very scared.
