I bought a NordicTrack T 5.7 treadmill on March 23,2013 with a three year extended warranty. With the extended warranty, I wanted to have a tech to come to my home just for a yearly maintenance check. First of all, I bought it from Sears — Sears doesn't do the NordicTrack equipment. I didn't know that at the time. Sears told me to call NordicTrack. NordicTrack has another company (Out of the Box) who does the repairs/maintenance of their equipment. NordicTrack calls this company and the company would call me for an appointment.
Last year, it took this person/tech over four months to come to my house, after many phone calls. So this year, I called NordicTrack to make an appointment for a yearly maintenance check. That was four weeks ago. I called three weeks ago, saying no one has called me from Out of the Box. This week, I have already called two times and I still have no appointment. Trying to get someone to come out to my home to do a yearly maintenance check is a hassle and I paid an extra $184.99 tax, for this coverage. If I had to do over again, I would not buy anything from NordicTrack. It was a waste of my money. It would be very nice to get my money back from this warranty. It was not worth it.
