Complaint / review text:
At the end of September my Debit order went off for Cell C but only to find that they debited the incorrect account. I than immediately contacted Cell C customer service whereby they put through the debit order on the incorrect account. Note the months prior to this the debit went off the correct account but all of a sudden they debited my savings instead of my cheque account.
During the month I than contacted the customer service -5 times where they reconfirmed by banking details and resubmitted the debit order only to find yet again over and over they debited the savings account instead of my Cheque account. Note I even spoke to a supervisor on the one call where they activated my account and updated my details again but still debited the incorrect account.
I am extremely upset as they have now impacted on my credit record as well as - R200 that was in the savings account went to bank charges due to the debit order not going through.
I need CELL C to retract the non payment registered on XDS credit Bureau. I would also like to be re-imburse the -R200 that went of my account for bank charges. If they want the exact figure I will get a statement from my bank.
