I have a contract with cell c and im vol as I am writing, the contract says I pay R50 every month and get 50 free minutes which they debit from my account every month, last year November debit order bounce back due to insufficient fund I then deposited that R50 the following day into cell c account. Month end of Feb they debited R124.99 when i asked why they tell me about a penalty fee of R70 that was charged when they didn't find money into my account and that was in Nov funny they decide to debit in Feb. I have many years using cell c as a contract and i never heard of the fee, there was a time i was unemployed and debit order would bounce back then i would pay after but there was no charge, wonder why it was not debited in December or January. Today I spoke to a consultant who told me about price increase of R5 as of month end of February and it was not in my contract I didn't know about. Cell C big time wonder lot of people are complaining on the site. I cant wait for the contract to end and I am going to advice people to change to another service provider I mean if they increase every year how much people will pay for R50 contract in 10 years.
