Complaint / review text:
I visited the mtn melrose arch branch to move my contacts from my blackberry to my new iphone. My problem wasnt that the store didnt have the licence. My problem was with the staff and lack of drive and enthusiasm. I was referred to any mtn branch to sort out my phone by the mtn hyde park (whom was very friendly and helpful)
As I entered the store, all 3 staff was leaning and hanging and chilling on the counter. The staff seemed surprised when I asked to copy my contacts. They said they dont have the licence for it, YOU SHOULD HAVE PHONED FIRST. As if I knew it was a common thing at MTN that they dont renew their licences.
It felt as if I was intruding by asking them to sort out my phone. As if they are doing me a favor by answering my questions. I know its saturday and I know you have to be there and I know you probably only there because its a salary, but frikken. Show some sort of enthusiasm in helping your clients. I work for a big group in customer service, I will gladly come train your staff.
