Continous Billing after Cancellation

On the 08/11/2014 I contacted the company to cancel my contract as it has expired and I was given this reference no 16579040 and I was told that it will be cancelled, I was suprised to see that after I had contacted them my account was debited. I then called them again on 06/01/2015 to request cancellation and I was given this reference 16681391 but still I was debited again.

This is such an inconvenience on my side as everytime I must request the bank to reverse that transcation, I dont understand what is so difficult about cancelling a debit order. This reflects badly on my bank statement and I would really appreciate if the debit order can be cancelled.

The debit has gone through twice this month 20/05/2015, can you please sort this out before i go to the ombudsman

Can someone please attend to this as I am loosing my mind and I dont have time to be going to the bank every month.
