Online Order Issue

I am very disappointed with I order from them once a month and have never had an issue, until now.

I find their practices to be deceitful. I placed an online order on 11/26/11 and received an e-mail same day they received my order and that it is being processed. On 11/27/11 I received an e-mail that my order had been shipped and my credit card was charged. I checked my shipment status on on 11/28,11/29 and 11/30 and each time I got the same message, that my order had been initiated but not yet recieved from Petco.

I decided to call Petco customer service on 11/30, the representative I got did not speak English well at all and had difficulty understanding what my issue was. After several attempts I finally was able to get my issue across to her, she looked into the issue and said that my order wasn't yet complete and had not been shipped. I was livid at that point, not only was I waiting on a package that wasn't on it's way but my credit card was charged prior to my items being shipped, which per Petco's website, they don't charge you until your order has shipped. The customer representative said she would e-mail me in the morning to let me know the status of my package.

Morning came and went today and I never heard from her, I decided to get on and try online chat, I got in touch with a woman who could not tell me what was going on and asked me to try again later, I told her I would not be tryings again later and that I needed resolution to the issue now. She then offered to replace the items at no charge to me, I agreed. I received an e-mail confirmation of the replacement order from the original girl I spoke with later in the evening. However, there was an item missing in my replacement order.

I e-mailed 3 separate times today to get that additional items added with no response. For the heck of it I decided to check on my replacement order status, the Fedex shipping number was the same and was shipped out hours before I contacted Petco.

There never was a replacement order, my original order just sat somewhere for days and I had to harass them to send it out. I will never know what really happened, I believe they created the shipping label in order to bill me (business down much?) and once I started complaining they decided to push my order through and this whole replacement order business is meant to hide what really happened and make them look like a caring company.
