Complaint / review text:
I had gone to petco for the first time to purchase a collar and leash for my newly owned puppy. Usually i go to petsmart but was on the run.
Then next day i had to do an exchange for a smaller collar and the cashier who worked there whos tag said customer assistance on it rolled her eyes at my mother and i. She gave us an attitude right from the start and later on wanted to argue and raise her voice to me about the policy. I read the policy right from the back of the receipt to her so i could show her what i got my information from. After she agreed to do an exchange she told me i shoudnt be so rude and continued to argue and disrespect me.
I had asked for the manager and that wasnt any better. He didnt care about the situation or even ask what the problem was. I will never return to this petco. The customer service was horrible.
I work in retail so i know how it is but never would i speak to a customer the way i was spoken to today.
I feel petco needs to be more choosy when hiring their employees. They do not handle issues well there.
