Complaint / review text:
I had a horrible customer service experience at one of the ULTA AZ stores. I attempted a return after 60 days, and was told I could not get my money back because it was past 60 days... Ok, fair.
But then I looked at the policy of the back of the receipt, and saw it stated that returns after 60 days are refunded as store credit. BUT the manager on duty still would not process my return and said to me that they are "not really supposed to do that" (direct quote)— then why is it written as policy on the back of their receipts?!?!?
I am very frustrated by this experience and I will only be shopping every alternative store (Sephora, beauty.com, drugstore.com)!! I have heard many stories of bad customer service at ULTA and never fully believed them until now.
