Few days ago I went into the mac store in reading and was very disappointed with the service. This was my first time going to the shop and my first experience with mac makeup, so I was a bit confused with the products and needed help.
As I looked around there was two girls standing around chatting and when they saw me they ignored me and carried on. I was waiting for about 10 minutes still none of them haven't approached me. Afterwards there was another lady that walked in the store both of the advisors walked towards the lady and offered her some help. I was very upset the fact I was standing around and desperately needed help.
I don't understand why this happened and felt disgusted, i will not be shopping there again which is a shame because I would have loved to try out the mac products. I have purchased the mac studio fix foundation and is the wrong shade for me which is very disappointing because if I got help from one of the advisors I wouldn't have tooken that long and ended up getting the wrong shade. I spent about half an hour trying to figure out which shade is the right shade. When I went to pay for it the lady at the tills who served me wasn't very welcoming and friendly like any sales advisors would be, she didn't bother making no conversation what so ever and didn't even say thank you, bye or have nice day, she didn't even smile.
These advisors clearly got no training on how to give great customer service. I myself work in retail and I always make my customers leave the shop with a smile on their face, I be happy to give them training myself I have therefore left the shop unsatisfied.
