Exactly the same thing happened to me. I too have paid Stemologica an additional £97.95 for three tiny pots of cream that I thought were a free sample for completing a questionnaire with only the postage cost of £3.95 to pay.
Stemologica were able to take the second payment of payment of £97.95 from my account because I gave them my debit card details for the postage cost. I have phoned my bank and cancelled any further CPA (continuous payment authority) payment to Stemologica but the bank will not refund the £97.95. I Phoned Stemologica and was told by their customer support service that I should have read the small print whereby they could keep charging me for their goods until I opt out. It's called 'NEGATIVE OPTION BILLING' and is nothing but a deceitful way of robbing people who take up the option of a free gift, trial or sample.
I could kick myself for being enough to fall for this SCAM. I've never even opened the three small jars of cream that have cost me over one hundred pounds.
Please don't be taken in by Stemologica, BEWARE! I have reported them to Trading Standards and will wait to hear if they can assist.
