Complaint / review text:
I got a gift certificate for massage envy and went. When I went in I was pressured into signing a contract that I told them I wasn't certain I could afford because my aunt and uncle were both very ill and when they passed, I was responsible for their funerals (as they raised me).
Sure enough, my aunt passed the same month I signed the contract from her breast cancer. It's been two months and since, my brother in law has passed away from brain cancer and now my uncle is being put into Hospice. I am trying to financially take care of all of this and in the mean time, my bank account was compromised so my bank automatically deactivated my debit card and reissued me another one. The same card I used to sign up with them.
I have yet to use their services and asked to just cancel my contract. I wasn't aware you couldn't do that. The client relations manager, Emily, told me that I signed a contract and need to pay my bills.
Seriously?!? It is the worst experience I have ever had with a company ever.
