Complaint / review text:
My first ever and LAST visit to Ulta in Rockville, Maryland. From the look of the complaints online, I would assume customer service simply isn't a priority for this company. I spent quite a bit of time going down almost every isle, looking for something very specific.
This employee kept walking past, putting stuff into a basket. I thought she was another customer. She started following my husband around, eyeing him, and smiling, but completely ignored me LOL. When we arrived at the check out counter together, she gave us TOTAL attitude.
She asked me if I had an Ulta card. I said "no, I don't." (no clue what it was since it was my first visit). She said "oh, " and continued ringing me up. Meanwhile, I'm looking at someone else in line, being tolda about the Ulta card by another cashier. So, when this was done ringing me up, I said to her "are you going to tell me about the card?" She says "Well, do you want it?" She stares at me for a whole min. And then proceeds to ask for my info for the card.
Uh, yeah... Like I said. I will simply stick with Sephora; where people know the products they're selling, offer you help when you cant find what you're looking for, and where you're treated like your money is actually valuable. LOL
Ulta is the ultimate joke.
