Complaint / review text:
I bought 2 of the same rings for my daughters, I also bought the insurance and one of them broke. I took it to the store and they said that the ring could not be fixed and all they would was to issue me a refund for the price of the ring and the insurance.
Zales still sales the ring but the price is higher than what I paid for it. However they would not replace it with a new one. The only reason that Zales will not replace the ring is because the cost for the ring now is more than what I paid for it. I feel that this is a poor way of doing Business.
I have bought 5 rings and 2 pairs of earrings and 2 necklaces from Zales. I am a good customer and for Zales the co. Not to replace an item which they still sale is not only rude but not caring for their customers. I have referred many of my friends and family to Zales and saddened to find out about Zales poor policies about defective products.
I am also very concerned about the other products that I bought from Zales. And I will not buy another piece of jewelry from Zales.
When I called the Corp office they said that they own the web site which sales the ring but can not ship me a new one. The manager did say all he can do is look into the matter.
