I am a student of this school and have been for almost 5 months. I actually went to this school. All I got to say is big mistake! Do not go to school here! The place is nice, but that's about it. Administration didn't know very much because the school had no great foundation and the teachers were mediocre. You have to bring your own products if you want to use it on clients. Overall, I would say if you want to learn how to be a stylist (more than passing state board), then go somewhere else! Don't say I didn't warn you. They promised a lot - I received the bare minimum. The company is not interested in true education - just an ever increasing number of students to enroll.
Many schools are run down; supplies for students are often limited. Educational program is unnecessarily difficult and does not translate well to actual work environment of a salon.instructors are not paid well and are expected to teach with limited training and support. Don't waste your time here as a student or employee. The staff was very unfair and you gain little to no knowledge about the beauty industry. This school is whack. I basically went through my entire esthetics program being the school's ; paying them tons of money while being forced to make them money. We had to take clients no matter what, at any time. They are interested in accommodating paying clients, but not paying students?
Consequently, I missed a ton of theory hours and had to teach myself. If it weren't for personal discipline and text books, I wouldn't have done well. I would never recommend this school to anyone. Ever. Unless you study hard on your own, keep good records of all your hours, operations, test scores and basically just any paper you get (or don't get, request it all) and have the ability to not care that the entire staff of your school is ridiculous.
