Complaint / review text:
We were shopping near closing time. My father had terminal cancer and could barely walk.
There were 5 of us at the exit door. Supervisor came and locked the door right in front of us and we asked him if we could leave from there and he refused and pointed to the other far end of the store. I was very upset with his behavior and went back to talk to him. After paging him twice he finally came out and I told him his behavior was very heartless.
He dared to say he did not see us even after we requested him to let us out. Asked for his name and he refused to give his full name and said he didn't even know the address of his own store. Attitude was such a disgrace as a supervisor.
Wrote feedback to London Drug and they only acknowledged the receipt of my feedback. Poor handling of PR.
Mr Brady who made a comment got it all wrong. We took my father to our car and I went back upstairs by myself.
When we asked him if we could leave from that door, the door was not locked yet but he turned the lock in front of our face and just pointed to the other direction. We said that we had an elderly man with walking difficulty but he would not budge. He even went downstairs to walk by our vehicle to check us out while he was being pages and I was waiting upstairs. When I talked to him he flat out said he did not see us (mind you it was all 5 of us and it happend 15 mins ago).
When I asked him for his info, he refused to give to me. Then I asked for the address of the store and he said he didn't know and only knew how to get to work. This is a supervisor of the store. What example does he give to his staff?
I am not a youth. My father was 84 and three weeks after that incident which occurred on Oct 12,2013, he passed away.
