I have a very serious problem on my hands right now regarding National Enterprise. They contacted me back in March and they threatened me about my student loan being past due.
They also tried to get me to pay at least half of it off immediately which I told them I could not do. Then they told me that I had to make a payment before the end of the month. At that point, I did authorize them to take out ONE payment from my checking account. Since this time they have been taking out UNAUTHORIZED payments from my checking account.
I contacted my bank and discussed this with them when I realized National Enterprise had been doing this every month since March 2014. They took out two payments in July and three here in August already!!! My account is overdrawn because of it. The bank is investigating the issue, but this is HORRIBLE!!!
I don't know how to put a stop to this unless I close out my checking account and then open up a new account.
I'm thinking class action law suit here. Anybody else?
