I called to request a quote from Metropolitan life and some gentle man helped me. I remember telling him that i am just checking not willing to buy anything, but he kept calling days after days trying to check if i have not changed my mind then eventually i decided that i will take the offer they gave me. I wanted to also insure by siblings which he told me that he will have to talk to my mother as she is their parent and she is my beneficiary (my mom got a call from him on the 1st July 2014) so he will let me know after talking to my mom about the contract and everything. He asked if he can debit the first premium on the 31st July 2014 (and that was on the 30th July when i decided to take the policy) but i told him to wait until end of August 2014. My issue here is: 1. Do all Metropolitan service agent act like this? Do they sell the policy to you and after making a sell forget about the client? I am sitting here today after speaking to him on the 30th not sure if my policy was approved or if he got all the information he needed from my mother or if they will be sending me the policy / contract or if they will be debiting my money end of the month.
