Complaint / review text:
For the past 14 mnths my debt counsellor & I have been trying EVERYTHING to obtain a detailed statement with debits & credits (for at least past 12 mnths), as well as a settlement amount, for ABSA Virgin credit card (# 5286250040338019).in spite of a court order from Roodepoort Magistrate's Court issued 12/10/2011, on which ABSA was copied before & after the court date, & after ABSA accepted this order & have been accepting agreed monthly pmts from my payment distribution agency from that date onward, we suddenly received a letter from ABSA's "National Manager Debt Counselling" dated 29/07/2013, informing us that this account is now "excluded from debt counseling" for legal action to commence, it seems, the letter itself extremely unclear (available on your request). Since then we have been doing everything in our power to make ABSA understand that the debt review court order stands, also to obtain a statement from ABSA for this account to verify debits/credits to ensure monthly pmts are allocated correctly, & also to obtain a settlement amount. Subsequently ABSA has still been receiving the monthly pmt distribution for this account. Why can't ABSA resolve these basic issues?
